Lee's Three Classic Buildings:

Marina City Chicago, Chicago, Illinois
Architect: Bertrand Goldberg

Chicago Picasso, Daley Plaza
Artist: Pablo Picasso

    Robie House, Chicago, Illinois
   Architect: Frank Lloyd Wright

I first heard Lee Bey speak at the AIA CRAN (Custom Residential Architects Network)
Symposium in Chicago in the Fall of 2022. I t was my first time in the city and the
educational programming was fantastic led by Julie Hacker and Stuart Cohen who
also spoke about the history of Chicago's architecture. Lee's commandment of the
room was spectacular, even though we were in a very unimpressive ballroom, (get
ready for more of that people.....)
And when I took the trip to the Farnsworth House on the last day of the conference
in and Turo rented Audi in pouring rain, I purchased Lee's book, "Southern Exposure"
only to misplace it somewhere in my house after I asked Lee to do a podcast and sign
the book. I will repurchase the book and have you sign it Lee!  So, I am so glad that we
were finally able to make the timing work and do the podcast even though he had
introduced Tom Kundig and his new book at an event earlier in the week and then had
a tour of the Obama Presidential Library with Billie later in the week!
Looking forward to reading your articles on the and more Chicago architecture!!!
